Contradictory
Less than an hour to my birthday and I don't feel happy. I'm not dreading it, but I don't feel happy, either. I suddenly thought of when I was younger and I hoped it was my birthday everyday and I wanted to have a huge party and invite all my friends over. But that was a loooooooooong time ago. Whats with everyone wishing me ' Happy Birthday '. They either think its today, or yesterday. Seriously. If you want to wish me Happy Birthday, get the date correct first kthxbai.
So anyway, yesterday I went out with my mom, dad and Celeste to Equinox. Which is on the 70th floor. I have a crush on the view there, I swear. But it was so warm there ~_~ We sit next to the window which means I have a constant, clear view of a lot of buildings and the Esplanade. I took some pictures but I'll post them either tomorrow or Monday 'cause I'm feeling very lazy now. Celeste and I look at the menu which has all this really fancy name and descriptions. I got my mom to choose stuff for me, lol. Then Celeste didn't understand anything so my mom got someone working in the restaurant to explain to her. He said that the scallop was nice and Celeste replied saying that she hated scallop. So he said " What part of the scallop don't you like? " then Celeste was like " The scallop ...? " He was actually quite nice o:
Then we ordered our food and had Sparkling Water. Honestly, it tasted like a cross between beer and plain water. Which is actually really disgusting but the only thing that kept me drinking it was the piece of lemon inside. Weird. Then the waiter served some fancy bread which tasted gooooooood. Now I know why they let us sit at the window seat for like, 3 hours (we have to get out at a certain period of time). Because the food takes like, 20 minutes to serve LOL. I timed the time taken for the lift to reach the 70th floor - 21 seconds, I think.
Went to relative's house today to celebrate Deepavali. I know what you're thinking - ' Why the heck does a Chinese need to celebrate Deepavali?! ' I'll tell you why. Because my family has Malay, Indians and Chinese thats why. I was damn bored and decided to be anti-socialish so I just read a book which I just borrowed from Sans Bookshop o: I read like, 259 pages of the book in between watching Chelsea lose 2-1 to Aston Villa (haha, suck on that man Chelsea), eating dinner and trying not to get a headache. Love me yawh.
I am going to change blogskin and watch anime with Celeste now. (:
